December Moon

dec winter

December Moon falls on December 13, 2016 this year, known as Full Cold Moon or Long Nights Moon. This marks we are full in the winter season and endure the cold months ahead.

In this month, we’ll see the Winter Solstice or Yule on December 21st. This marks the shortest day of the year, and from here on out, we’ll see the days lengthen in light.

Some fun activities you might enjoy:

Create a Yule Log. The history of the Yule log dates back to the 17th century Europe. This is great if you have a fire pit or fireplace to burn it, but you can do something similar with creating a Yule log cake.
